Congratulations to Matt Bennett on reaching 50 First XV appearances with his start against Camborne on Saturday.

Matt joined Dings from Cinderford in 2023, bringing his National One experience to the club and becoming a valuable member of the squad.

The hard-tackling Welshman, instantly recognisable on the pitch by his coloured scrum cap and his willingness to put his body on the line, was a key part of the Dings team that were crowned National 2 West Champions and secured promotion to National One in the 2023/24 season.

A great player and an even better bloke off the pitch, Matt has been a fantastic servant to the club.

Please join us in congratulating Matt on his 50th appearance. We're sure his family and fiancée, Sophie, are incredibly proud.

Well done, Butt!
