Bargoed played an expansive game with numerous line breaks to make Dings Crusaders work hard for the win. Dings scrum-half Archie Stapleton and centre George Boulton impressed, as did Bargoed full-back Rhys Thomas.
Dings pack were on top and a driving maul put Joe Hawkesby over for their first try, Ollie Millner converting, who was metronomic all game.
Further pressure at the lineout saw Hawkesby get another from a lineout maul.
Half time 14-0

Bargoed, on the attack again, got their reward just after half-time when Callum Merrick crashed over unconverted from a tap and go penalty.
Dings returned in dominant fashion, delivering ball through the forwards for wing Ezra Caven to touch down for 21-5.
Bargoed were winning the battle in midfield but handling errors let them down. They did get the next try when a Dings lineout on their own five metre line was overthrown and hooker, Morgan Edwards capitalised.
From the subsequent restart, Dings turned up the power and the forwards mauled over another try, Chris Mills getting the touchdown. Into the final few minutes of the game, all played in Dings' 22, a sniping run from Aaron Elliots got them the final try.
