With Dings potentially playing Ivybridge in the last game of the season I found a match programme from 15 years ago, from April 2001. Dings were playing in South West Two (west) and went on to win the league that season. It might have also been the first time that Dings and Ivybridge played each other........

Where are these once young bucks now?

15. M.Woodrow - For the man with more clubs than tiger woods. Mark just happens to be the current dings player/head coach and is still smashing over the penalties from everywhere. There is talk of retirement at the end of the season but we will see......

14. D.Lloyd - Darren 'man mountain' Lloyd is currently the director of rugby at Clifton RFC. #winnerswin #cliftonheusedthatatdingsfirst

13. M.Davis - Mark is a player who gave up rugby too early. Oh what might have been. His better looking brother can still be found holding up scrums in the 3rds. Their dad John still regularly follows the 1st team.

12. G.James - Gary has been AWOL since 2003. Last known whereabouts were up ta north.

11. K.Venn - The Bristol Post's favourite 'ever green' rugby player. Karl is still playing and plying his trade at Bristol Saracens RFC as a flanker/hooker. Keep it up Karl, you're a long time retired.

10. N.Seaward - Nick 'middle aged clubber' Seaward is now retired from rugby and is living the dream. Golf on a Monday, golf on a Tuesday, golf on a.....

9. J.westlake - the rat can be found most Saturdays telling anyone who will listen how good he used to be. It could be argued that Jerry is one of the most successful captains ever at Dings but I'd never say it to his face.

3. T.Sealey - Trevor is the current chairman of Southmead RFC. Boy that bloke loved a row on the pitch.

2. P.Finckin - Paul has travelled around abit in his career but seems to have found a home at Clifton RFC (for now) where he's currently coaching their 2nd team. Paul your 1 cap off 300 here at Dings, sort it out!

1. S.Mitchard - Scott has since retired. He can now be found racing his beloved dogs or at the 'Cod Almighty'.

4. M.Jefferies - Cave man has held a few coaching positions around the combination but rumour has it Mike could be back at Dings in 2016/17 to achieve a personal dings appearance milestone. Yes Mike, sing Alouette

5. C.Farley - Cerry now resides in Australia. Which is good as he can bore them with his naval exploits.

6. J.Flether - the 'Colgate' kid has threatened to come out of retirement on numerous occasions but it's yet to materialise. Currently having a mid life crisis.

7. S.Knight - Simons not actively involved in rugby anymore and nowadays regularly competes in marathons.

8. V.Murrell - The 'flame haired adonis' has had more come backs than Frank Sinatra and can be found running out for Dings sporadically.

16. J.Winter - James's playing days might finally be numbered but he is still a loyal committee member and loves a bench.

17. J.Luck - Our resident billionaire shows no signs of retiring. Chairman, will he/won't he........

18. S.Bishop- Probably playing football somewhere
