Injury and availability depleted Mavericks suffered at the sword of Exeter as they ticked over more than a point a minute.
Coach Tom Lindsay will head back to the drawing board to boost the performance when they return to the training ground on Tuesday in preparation for their next fixture as they head to Newbury, hungry to prove themselves on the 10th November.

It's painful to take and write about results like this, but the Mavericks will learn, take it on board and bounce back from todays experience.
