DINGS gained revenge for defeat at Newport with a big win, as star man TJ Wilstead grabbed a hat-trick.
The hosts were soon in the ascendancy, and points came through a mauling Joe Hawkesby and Wilstead's boot.
A perfect cross-field Wilstead boot put Matt Jones over.
The high tempo continued as George Castledine popped through for his first self- converted Newport try.
Dings rallied and took control with tries from Solomon Taufa, Wilstead and Jones again before the break.
The second half began with Tom Knight breaking through with a half pitch sprint to score.
Some errors from the Crusaders gave Newport the advantage through the middle, but resurgent Dings used the width, allowing Wilstead another and, through Liam Appleton's thundering line break, delivering Wilstead's hat-trick.
Newport hit back as Fred Bailey scored in the 55th minute, but Chris Rovery then featured from the Dings bench, his charge seeing him over for his first.
The power of huge Newport prop Thomas Cowell, tested Dings as Castledine crossed for his second. But with an error at the 5m line from Dings, and a quick penalty, Newport's bonus point came through Matthew Hubbart, as Rovery closed the day with a similar tap-go and clever step at the away end.
