Match Preview: Dings Knights vs Dursley RFC – The Final Showdown

Here we are—it's the final game of the season, and the Dings Knights have held the top spot throughout. Early on, the Knights were unstoppable, cruising through unbeaten. But all the while, Frampton Cotterell has been lurking just behind, keeping the pressure on at the top of the Tribute Counties 2 league.

This Saturday, we welcome Dursley RFC to The Park. Sitting mid-table, Dursley is more than capable of pulling off an upset if the Knights take their eye off the ball. With OE’s in 5th place looking to claw back points from Frampton’s green army, this game is truly a playoff decider.

A bonus point win will seal the deal, but even a straight win will suffice. However, two LBPs (losing bonus points) would make things incredibly tight at the top.

Whatever happens, we'll take full advantage of our home crowd and the passionate support from the Dings faithful as we aim to finish the season on a high. The Knights have triumphed in the last three meetings with Dursley, but while there’s not a lot of information on the visitors, we know they take their rugby seriously and will come prepared to challenge.
